우리이야기
바다소리는 사람에 대한 궁금증에서 시작되었습니다.
“사람들은 어떤 방식으로 살아가고, 무엇을 생각하며, 그 생각이 어떻게 삶을 바꾸는가.”
이 질문이 한 장의 편지를 만들었고, 그 편지가 또 다른 사람의 마음을 열었습니다.
처음에는 몇 통의 편지로 시작되었지만,
지금은 지역의 식당, 카페, 미용실이 함께 참여하여
어르신들에게 따뜻한 식사와 시간을 나누고 있습니다.
서로의 이야기를 듣고 쓰는 과정 속에서,
우리는 마음의 벽을 허물고 세대를 잇는 대화를 만들어가고 있습니다.
바다소리는 거창한 변화보다는
한 사람의 하루가 조금 더 따뜻해지는 일을 믿습니다.
이야기를 나누는 일, 그것이 바로 우리의 이야기입니다.
Badasori began with a simple curiosity —
How do people live, think, and change through their thoughts and stories?
That question led to a single letter, and that letter opened another person’s heart.
What started as a few letters has now grown into a small network of connection.
Local cafés, restaurants, and salons have joined,
offering their time, meals, and kindness to support the elders.
Through writing and listening,
we are slowly breaking the silence between generations and creating a dialogue built on empathy.
Badasori is not about grand change,
but about making one person’s day a little warmer.
To share a story — that is, and will always be, our story.
Our Story
어느 날 문득, 사람들은 어떤 생각을 하며 살아가는지 궁금해졌습니다. 특히 오랜 세월을 살아온 어르신들은 자신의 삶을 어떻게 바라보고 있을까 궁금했습니다.
부산을 방문할 때마다, 조용히 혼자 앉아 있는 어르신들의 모습이 마음에 남았습니다. 그분들의 이야기를 듣고 싶었고, 그 이야기가 누군가에게 작은 위로가 될 수 있기를 바랐습니다. 그래서 저는 지역 복지센터와 어르신들과 이야기를 주고받기 시작했습니다. 처음엔 단순한 호기심이었지만, 그 편지들이 사람의 마음을 연결하기 시작했습니다.
I began to wonder —how do people, especially the elderly, view their own lives after so many years? Each time I visited Busan, I noticed elders sitting quietly alone, their presence filled with stories that few stopped to hear. I wanted to understand how they thought, how they lived, and how sharing those thoughts could bring comfort to others. So I began exchanging stories with them through local welfare centers. What started as curiosity grew into genuine connection and where every story reminds us of our shared humanity.
